We had planned a 4nt/5day stay in Dubai but fortunately our flight was cancelled giving us one less day which we realised was a blessing. This was our 3rd stay in Dubai but our 1st since Covid, and sadly, our most disappointing. Broken paths, dirty streets and sadly even homeless people, made this stay a real shock for us. Except for inside malls and tourist attractions, Dubai seems to be slipping A LOT in standards. The roads are very congested now and public transport is crowded and most of the people ignore rules and regulations. Couldn’t walk around without being approached by street sellers constantly pulling us to buy something. Got pushed and knocked by people on the underground, some were even sitting in the floor?? A lot of Indian migrants tried to tell us bad things for Dubai, and said we should go to India instead for holidays as Dubai was ‘broke’ and we were told countless times that “Dubai needed money”?? These residents actually upset our stay, and seeing the state of Al Barsha area was a shock. If you are only going for shopping in the malls then great, otherwise you may be disappointed. Being approached all the time by street sellers made us feel nervous and not safe as we did on our past stays.

I am fully satisfied with the services of this hotel. Location is good , there are many restaurants and shopping malls around the hotel area. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Reception team and other front staff always on alert to help the guests. Restaurant staff also very good. I specially mention the room cleaning guy ( Nepal ) I could see he was working hard. I have already decided to book this hotel for my future tours to Dubai. Finally I should say , I can recommend this hotel to anyone who wish to book for their tours

In my opinion Dubai is a gigantic playground for Adults.
In my opinion Dubai is a gigantic playground for Adults. Its like Las Vegas on stereoids. It shows what a city is capable of doing when they come to money fast… to lot of money. Dubai with is skyscrapers is incredible to have a look at. I have seen construction sites everywhere and it is constantly expanding. It is very very safe for female solo travelers, at day, and at night. Its considered one of the safest cities in the world. What I found a bit complicated is the metro system. It looks like the sights are in close distance but to get there by bus and by metro took us often 1hr or more, often lot more time than what google maps showed. At night we ordered Careem (something like Uber) and were canceled all the time by the drivers, which was annoying. So, to get around in Dubai I didnt find that easy. We spent 3 days and it was too short for what Dubai has to offer. But yes, definately worth a visit. Wow, it was an impressive experience. Check out Old Dubai (Neighborhood Fahidi) to see the contrast of New to Old Dubai. It was amazing.

We love the location, it is great for long walks in the evening in the Media City Park. It is a 25 min walk (3k steps) to Marina Mall area (you can also take a tram, just outside the hotel). And a 30min taxi trip to Dubai Mall or 15 by taxi to Emirates Mall. Monorail station to Palm Jumeirah is 5min walk from the hotel. So location wise it is quite convenient if you want to visit different parts of Dubai in the same week.
